Job summary

Career Teachers is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Croydon primary school. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a daily rate of 93–110 GBP. You will support children with SEN, including ASD/ADHD, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.

Ideal candidates will have recent primary school experience, a valid DBS (update service) or willingness to obtain one, and be flexible, proactive, and a strong team player capable of making a positive impact on learning outcomes.

• Recent experience in a primary school setting.
• DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN to access learning activities.
• Assist the class teacher and SENCO in classroom tasks.

Career Teachers is working with a primary schools based in Lambeth who are looking for experienced teaching assistants to support children with SEN Needs.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have experience or qualification of supporting children with ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.


• Have relevant and recent experience within a primary school.


• Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one.


• Be flexible and adaptable


• Be creative & proactive in approach to learning.


• Carry out duties as directed by the class teacher/Senco


• Good team player who can make an impact on the outcome of the children's learning.


• Have the right to work in the uk.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
