Job summary

St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Primary School is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on supporting children with SEN and contributing to a collaborative school community.

We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships with pupils aged 5 to 11, working within a Catholic ethos and a committed staff team.

Qualifications

• Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Support children with a range of additional needs.
• Foster positive relationships with children, helping them develop socially, emotionally and academically.
• Have previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary school or similar educational setting.
• Willing to work with pupils between 5 years and 11 years of age.
• Demonstrate patience, empathy, resilience and excellent communication skills.
