SEN Teaching Assistant
We are recruiting caring and committed Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work in specialist and mainstream settings supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on young people's lives.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Help students access learning and develop independence
Assist with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
Implement individual education and support plans
Support with sensory needs and behaviour strategies
Provide personal care where required (toileting, dressing, feeding, etc.)
Work closely with teachers and other support professionals
Experience working with children or young people with ASD and/or MLD (desirable, not essential)
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Willingness to support with personal care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
