SEND Teaching Assistant – Enfield

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Schools across Enfield are seeking committed and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams and help create inclusive, nurturing learning environments.

About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will be instrumental in helping students access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom

• Implement strategies recommended by SENCOs and external specialists

• Encourage independence, engagement, and positive behaviour

• Support the development of social and emotional skills

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
