Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants in Nottingham for immediate opportunities, including day-to-day supply and longer-term roles.

We seek candidates with SEND experience and TA qualifications (Level 2/3 or equivalent) who can support with EHCPs, differentiated learning and strong behaviour management, in partnership with schools and trusts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Relevant TA qualifications or hands-on experience.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach to student support.
• Ability to assist with differentiated learning and EHCPs.
• Strong behaviour management in challenging situations.
• Collaborates with teachers, parents and SENCOs.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of differentiated learning activities.
• Assist with EHCP planning and monitoring.
• Work with teachers and SENCOs to track progress.
• Provide consistent pastoral support in classrooms.

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND TAs to join our growing network of support staff across the Nottingham area, with immediate opportunities available.

We are working in partnership with Greenwood Academies Trust and LEAD Academy Trust offering a range of opportunities from day-to-day supply to long-term support roles.

We re looking for Teaching Assistants who:

• Have previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

• Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) or relevant hands-on experience

• Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to student support

• Can assist with differentiated learning activities and support individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and a calm demeanour in challenging situations

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to support student progress
