SEND Teaching Assistant – Make a Difference in Dudley

Location: Dudley

Salary: £444 – £455 per week

Start Date: Immediate starts available – Full-time position

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

ABC Teachers is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEND school in Dudley. This is a full-time role, with opportunities for long-term placement for the right candidate.

Your Role Will Include

• Supporting the educational, emotional, and social development of students.
• Assisting teachers in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum.
• Providing tailored 1:1 support or leading small group activities for students aged 4–19.
• Committing to a consistent, full-time role that offers genuine impact and job satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Experience supporting children and young people with additional or complex needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships quickly.
• Ability to provide suitable references and pass a DBS check.
