SEN Teaching Assistant

£90 - £95 per day

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support the class teacher in creating a safe, engaging and supportive environment. You'll work one-to-one and in small groups, helping children develop their communication, learning and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils based on individual learning needs
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of classroom activities and lessons
• Encourage the development of confidence, independence and life skills
• Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation in and out of the classroom
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other staff
• Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes as needed
• Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare

• Experience working with children or young people (preferably in an SEN or care setting)
