We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive SEN school in Beccles. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a variety of additional needs-including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges-helping them to grow in confidence and achieve their potential.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff, you'll help to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where pupils can flourish both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups within the classroom
• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities
• Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and independence
• Manage behaviour positively and sensitively
• Collaborate effectively with the wider school team and external professionals
• Promote a culture of inclusion, safety, and respect
• Supervise pupils during break and lunch times as required
