Supply Teach is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Derby primary school with a specialist SEN provision. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties.

You will help create a calm, structured classroom where pupils can settle and learn, supporting their learning, emotional wellbeing and social development while working closely with class teachers and the SENCO.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school, care, therapy or similar setting.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Good communication with pupils and staff.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Derby | £90-£100 per day | Full-time or part-time

Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Supply Teach is looking for a caring, patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Derby with a specialist SEN provision. Work is available now, with regular days and long-term opportunities.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Give 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties
• Help create a calm, structured classroom where pupils can settle and learn
• Support pupils' learning, emotional wellbeing and social development
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO

• A TA qualification or relevant degree (helpful but not essential)
