Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in Berkhamsted, supporting children with autism (ASD) and other SEN needs. The role starts ASAP and offers a long-term, full-time placement with ongoing training and supervision.

Applicants should be patient, reliable and capable of consistent, empathetic engagement with learners. Prior experience in schools or nurseries with SEN is preferred, and a genuine passion for helping children progress

An excellent primary school in Berkhamsted are searching for a SEN teaching assistant to join them on an immediate basis. They currently have 2 children in Year 3 with an EHCP, both children have Autism and will require someone who understands their needs. This mainstream primary school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has a true passion for working with children with SEN.

This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is a fantastic platform for developing experience within social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a long-term, full time opportunity and will require a SEN teaching assistant who is fully committed to their role. Ideally the SEN teaching assistant will have previous experience in a similar position working with special needs within a school or nursery setting.

This role requires someone who is patient, reliable and has great awareness of other people's needs. If you enjoy working with children and strive to improve a student's educational development then you will succeed as a SEN Teaching Assistant!

We are looking for someone to be consistent for these children and offer ongoing support.
