Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with ASD and ADHD in a fantastic secondary SEN school in Croydon/Crystal Palace. The role runs ASAP until at least Christmas, with full-time, term-time hours and long-term continuity.

You will work with KS3/KS4 pupils, using engaging, child-centred approaches, and deliver 2:1 and small group interventions to support communication, sensory regulation and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university.
• Strong academic background throughout education.
• Graduates in Psychology, Music, Dance, Drama, Performing Arts, Art, Childhood Studies or similar subjects encouraged to apply.
• Previous SEN experience desirable, including tutoring, coaching, youth work or creative settings.
• Passionate about Autism, child development and inclusive education.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Crystal Palace

A fantastic, Secondary SEN school is searching for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting a student with ASD & ADHD, as soon as possible until at least Christmas.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role will see you working within the classroom, supporting Secondary children with a range of communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs. Through structured routines, creative activities and positive relationships, you will help pupils develop confidence, independence and the skills needed to access learning successfully.

Working alongside experienced Teachers, specialist support staff and external professionals, you will gain invaluable hands‑on experience within a highly supportive environment.
