Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a patient SEN Teaching Assistant in Croydon to support pupils aged 4-19 in a specialist setting. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and making progress towards EHCP outcomes.

The role involves assisting pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs, promoting independence, positive behaviour and a structured, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• Experience with autism, SLD, PMLD or complex needs desirable.
• Confident supporting communication, behaviour and learning.
• Full-time role, immediate start.

Responsibilities

SEN Teaching Assistant - Croydon - SEN School - £95-£115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start

• SEN Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN required
• SEN Teaching Assistant - Experience working with autism, SLD, PMLD or complex needs desirable
• SEN Teaching Assistant - Must be confident supporting communication, behaviour and learning

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Seeking a patient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4-19 within a specialist setting. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and work towards their EHCP outcomes. The role involves supporting pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated communication needs, promoting independence, encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to a structured and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
