Enhanced DBS on Update Service

Job Duties:
  • Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Required Qualifications:

Enhanced DBS on Update Service

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children with special educational needs

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy towards students with diverse needs
Preferred Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Working Conditions:

Work within a school setting, following term-time schedules and holidays
