Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the CV6 area, Coventry. This full-time role starts ASAP and runs until the end of the academic year, with 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior SEN experience, a patient and caring approach, and be capable of helping pupils access the curriculum and develop confidence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential.
• A patient, caring and understanding approach.
• Experience supporting children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or additional learning needs would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting children with their learning, development and day-to-day classroom activities.
• Helping to implement individual learning plans and support strategies.
