Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking reliable Teaching Assistants to work with schools in Islington. You will support pupils with learning, behaviour and daily routines, both 1:1 and in groups, across primary, secondary and SEN settings.

The ideal candidate has experience with children and a patient, proactive approach. DBS update service is preferred, with strong teamwork and communication throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• School, nursery, tutoring, care, mentoring or youth work experience is desirable.
• A patient, reliable and positive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence supporting pupils with different learning needs.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington
Pay: 100- 117 per day
Hours: Full-time / part-time roles available
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available
School Type: Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools

The Role
