Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at a specialist Jewish school in Barnet, North London.

You will provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support, help with communication and emotional regulation, and work closely with teachers to implement individualised learning strategies in a safe, inclusive environment. DBS Update Service is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Confidence supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties or other complex needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
