Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is partnering with an award-winning Education provider in Bridgwater, Somerset to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant. The role is term-time only, 37.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, based in Bridgwater.

The successful candidate will support pupils with diverse needs, including autism; prior experience in education and safeguarding duties (DBS) are required. Level 3 TA or HLTA status is advantageous and sponsorship is not available at present, with an emphasis

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils on the Autistic spectrum is desirable.
• Proven experience of working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience working with young people with special education needs or additional learning difficulties would be advantageous.
• A good level of Math and English.
• Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools is an advantage.
• Higher level Teaching Assistant (TA4 / HLTA) is desirable.
