Job description

ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Birmingham on a full-time basis.

    • Support holistic learning through arts, crafts, agriculture, and more.
    • Assist students aged 6 to 19 years with complex learning needs.
    • Collaborate with a class teacher and experienced support staff to deliver a child-centered approach to learning.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Hold a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
  • Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • two years experience supporting students with special educational needs.
