Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs to do their best in a caring and supportive setting? Teaching Personnel are looking for a kind and committed Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded SEND school in the North Birmingham area.
Job Overview:
As an important member of the classroom team, you’ll work alongside teachers and therapists to support students with their learning, emotions and social skills. You’ll offer one-to-one and group support, help children become more independent and play a part in creating a calm and welcoming classroom where every child feels valued.
Role Responsibilites:
A kind, patient and enthusiastic attitude
A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
Experience working with young people (in school or care settings) is helpful but not essential
Good communication skills and a team-focused approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
