Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited in Hampshire is seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to deliver personalised learning for children and young people with additional needs across Hampshire. The role offers flexible daytime hours across Hampshire and supportive, school-based settings.

You will create safe, inclusive lessons, tailor tuition to EHCPs, and collaborate with families and professionals. QTS or PGCE is required, with at least two years of teaching experience and strong safeguarding

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE certification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (preferred).
  • Ability to teach Maths and English; Science desirable.
  • Experience across relevant Key Stages.
  • Enhanced DBS via Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Deliver tailored lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs.
  • Support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals.
  • Provide engaging, structured teaching sessions and clear tuition reports.
  • Model positive behaviour and values.
