Job summary

Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher in Dorset to deliver personalised learning to children with additional needs across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The role offers flexible daytime hours and competitive hourly pay of 30–35 GBP.

You will create a safe, inclusive classroom, adapt lessons to EHCPs, and work with families and professionals. QTS or PGCE required, minimum 2 years' experience with SEN, and an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• QTS or PGCE required.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
• Ability to teach Maths and English.
• Experience across relevant Key Stages.
• Strong SEN experience.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in UK.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Deliver tailored lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs.
• Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals.
• Provide engaging, structured teaching sessions.
• Model positive behaviour and values.
• Complete tuition reports and maintain clear communication.
