Five Education is seeking a compassionate SEND Teacher (PMLD) to join a specialist school in Bristol teaching children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties across primary and secondary.

The role is full-time, with an immediate start, paying in line with MPS/UPS. You will plan personalised learning, collaborate with therapists and families, and contribute to EHCP reviews while upholding safeguarding and inclusive practices.

SEND Teacher - Specialist School

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and highly motivated SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Bristol supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) across both primary and secondary age ranges.

This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of pupils with complex learning, physical, sensory and medical needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every learner achieve their full potential.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering highly personalised learning programmes that meet the individual needs of pupils with PMLD. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will create engaging, sensory-rich learning experiences that support communication, independence, wellbeing and life skills.

You will collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the highest quality educational experience and support.

  • Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
