London Teaching Pool, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Uxbridge.

The role involves delivering engaging, personalised lessons to students aged 7–19 with complex needs, while working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals to support holistic development. The successful candidate will have QTS or equivalent and proven SEN experience, with a commitment to inclusive education and developing essential life skills in students.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN.
• Ability to differentiate teaching and personalise learning.
• Patience, empathy and flexible approach to support diverse needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork with Assistants and therapists.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists and support teams.
• Monitor progress against targets and EHCP outcomes.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support development of communication, independence and life skills.
• Record and report progress to parents and colleagues.
