Job summary

Tessupply are recruiting for a permanent SEN Teacher in a specialist education setting in Greater Manchester. You will plan differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN/SEND, working with a supportive team to create a nurturing learning environment.

Experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour is highly desirable, with a focus on progress and safeguarding. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with term-time hours, and a commitment to CPD in SEN and challenging behaviour.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience in SEN/SEND settings.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
• Able to differentiate effectively to meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Work with Teaching Assistants and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Develop progress-focused IEPs and support plans.
• Manage behaviour consistently with positive strategies.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed.
