Crowdys Hill School in Swindon is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join a dynamic SEN and primary age team. You will design and deliver engaging lessons across English, Maths, Science and project work, including ICT-enabled activities, to pupils with moderate to severe needs.
The role requires QTS or QTLS equivalency, strong communication and numeracy skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive staff.
Crowdys Hill School is a dynamic and expanding special school for pupils in the Swindon area and beyond. We have over 340 pupils on roll, ranging from 5-19 years of age. All our students have moderate or severe learning difficulties and social communication difficulties. Some have autism, ADHD or other more complex needs.
At Crowdys Hill we teach our students both in and out of the classroom. The school has a farm which houses a range of animals from miniature goats to alpacas and a growing Forest School students access weekly throughout the year. We also arrange trips to local attractions, and specific year groups take part in yearly residentials to help our students to experience the world outside of the classroom.
