Job summary

Swinderby Lower School in Lincolnshire is seeking an outstanding Teacher to join the SEN education team at Kisimul School. You will create engaging learning opportunities for individuals and small groups, with a person-centred approach.

You will be primary trained, passionate about making a difference, and able to lead by example with resilience and collaboration. Informal discussions and visits are encouraged; interviews will be arranged.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with primary training and SEN experience.
• Ability to deliver engaging, person-centred lessons.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relationships to promote curriculum delivery and achievement.
• Teach students according to their educational needs and ensure every lesson counts.
• Create a secure environment supporting the educational well-being of each pupil.
• Manage behaviour with confidence, resilience, and consistent strategies.
• Assess students’ learning to inform planning and next steps.
• Match tasks to ability so pupils progress at the right pace.
• Work with school leaders to teach individual pupil plans for specific needs.
• Liaise effectively with parents and professionals.
