Protocol Education is partnering with a SEN school in Bedale to hire a dedicated SEN Teacher who can create calm, consistent and engaging lessons for pupils with diverse needs. You will lead learning in a specialist setting and adapt activities to suit individual progress.

You will manage behaviour with a calm approach and work closely with support staff, SENCOs and external professionals to build confidence and routine for each pupil. Immediate start and CPD access are offered.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching in a SEN school or PRU setting.
• Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• A calm, resilient, and adaptable teaching style.

We’re working with an amazing SEN school within the Bedale area who are looking for teachers who can create calm, consistent, and engaging learning environments for pupils who need a different approach.

What’s the role?

You’ll be leading learning in a specialist setting, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them build confidence, routine, and progress at their own pace.

Your day might include:

• Teaching pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Autism or PMLD
• Adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Managing behaviour with a calm, consistent approach
• Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
