Aboutthe Role

As an SENPrimary Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning for primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Plan engaging and personalised learning experiences that reflect individual strengths and needs.
  • Support pupils to make excellent progress academically, socially and emotionally.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals.
  • Implement communication strategies, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), to ensure all pupils can access learning.
  • Monitor, assess and track progress, contributing to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews and targets.

  • Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils.
