Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Teacher for a special needs school in Hackney, London. The role supports pupils with ASD and SLD, within a 7-pupil class with 3 teaching assistants. The position is full-time with temp-to-perm potential, offering strong induction and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Applicants should hold QTS or equivalent, have experience with ASD/SLD in a primary setting, and be capable of collaborative work with therapists and parents.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ASD and SLD is essential.
• Experience in a primary setting preferred.
• References covering recent employment or training history.
• UK-based safeguarding compliance within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalised learning plans to promote independence and social skills.
• Collaborate with therapists and educational psychologists.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies for inclusion.
