Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with anoutstanding SEN school in Streathamthat supports children aged4-12 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN).

We are seeking adedicated SEN Teacherto join their passionate team, delivering high-quality, individualised education to pupils with diverse and complex needs.

• Design and deliverpersonalised, sensory-friendly lessonstailored to pupils withASD, MLD, SLD, and SLCN.

• Implementevidence-based interventions(e.g.,TEACCH, PECS, Makaton) to enhance communication, engagement, and learning.

• Collaborate withSENCOs, therapists, and support staffto monitor progress and adapt EHCPs.

• Foster apositive, structured, and inclusiveclassroom environment that meets sensory and emotional needs.

• Build strong partnerships withparents, carers, and multidisciplinary teamsto ensure holistic pupil development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS, with experience teachingSEN (ASD, MLD, SLD, or SLCN).

• Strong understanding ofSEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, and differentiation strategies.

• Experience withbehaviour support, AAC tools, or multisensory learning(desirable).

• Apatient, adaptable, and innovativeapproach to teaching.

• Commitment tocontinuous professional developmentin SEN best practices.

• Supportive leadership and specialist training opportunities.
