Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with anoutstanding SEN school in Streathamthat supports children aged4-12 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN).
We are seeking adedicated SEN Teacherto join their passionate team, delivering high-quality, individualised education to pupils with diverse and complex needs.
Design and deliverpersonalised, sensory-friendly lessonstailored to pupils withASD, MLD, SLD, and SLCN.
Implementevidence-based interventions(e.g.,TEACCH, PECS, Makaton) to enhance communication, engagement, and learning.
Collaborate withSENCOs, therapists, and support staffto monitor progress and adapt EHCPs.
Foster apositive, structured, and inclusiveclassroom environment that meets sensory and emotional needs.
Build strong partnerships withparents, carers, and multidisciplinary teamsto ensure holistic pupil development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS, with experience teachingSEN (ASD, MLD, SLD, or SLCN).
Strong understanding ofSEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, and differentiation strategies.
Experience withbehaviour support, AAC tools, or multisensory learning(desirable).
Apatient, adaptable, and innovativeapproach to teaching.
Commitment tocontinuous professional developmentin SEN best practices.
Supportive leadership and specialist training opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
