Targeted Provision seeks SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support children with SEND and SEMH needs, delivering Maths, English or Science tutoring with flexible, trauma-informed approaches. Roles are available in person, online, or hybrid, within flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, or related needs.
• Familiarity with Maths, English, and/or Science teaching.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) required or in progress.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references available or can be facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring.
• Maintain regular feedback on student progress and reporting to authorities as needed.
• Safeguard and create a safe learning environment for vulnerable learners.

SEND Tutor And Teacher Role Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

The SEND Tutor And Teacher Role And Responsibilities

Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs

Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring

Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
