Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of disengaged learners. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring with flexible, trauma-informed approaches delivered in person, online, or hybrid.

We welcome candidates with 2+ years of teaching, QTS/QTLS, DBS clearance, and a UK-based right to work. Opportunities are self-employed with interviews arranged as applications come in, at £28-£35 per hour and CPD support.

Qualifications

2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH needs.
Experience with Maths, English, or Science preferred.
QTS/QTLS certification.
Enhanced DBS and 2+ references.

Responsibilities

Deliver in-person, online or hybrid tutoring in Maths, English or Science.
Support learners with SEMH and SEND needs (KS1–KS5).
Plan lessons and provide progress updates.

SEND Tutor And Teacher Role Requirements

Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

The SEND Tutor And Teacher Role And Responsibilities

Provide in person, online / remote, and hybridMaths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
