This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and confident early career teachers (with SEN experience) to deliver personalised and impactful learning in a highly supportive environment.

About the Role:

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will take full ownership of a class group with diverse and complex needs, working alongside a skilled team of support staff and therapists to deliver tailored, person-centred education.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering creative, meaningful lessons tailored to individual needs and EHCP outcomes.

Leading a class team and embedding therapeutic, communication, and regulation strategies throughout the day.

Using a range of AAC systems including PECS, Sign-Along, and high-tech devices to support communication and understanding.

Collaborating with families and professionals to ensure consistency, progress, and a holistic approach.

Contributing to annual reviews and EHCP documentation with insight and clarity.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – NQTs with SEN experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience working with pupils with complex learning needs, communication difficulties, and sensory processing challenges.

Strong understanding of AAC and positive behaviour support (PBS).

Confident leadership within the classroom and the ability to guide and inspire support staff.

Excellent communication skills with families and external professionals.
