Job Title: SEN Teacher

GSL Education London is seeking a SEN Teacher for one of its client schools in Barnet.

Position Overview: As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering tailored learning experiences for students with diverse learning needs. Your commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment will empower students to overcome challenges and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN, ensuring their specific learning needs are met.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the varying abilities and learning styles of students.
  • Utilize creative teaching strategies and resources to support student progress and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, teaching assistants, and external professionals to enhance student support and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements, and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SEN teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and interventions.
