Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident SEN Teacher to join our partner SEN schools in Torquay. You should hold a QTS and have experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEMH, with strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

In this role you will create engaging, supportive lessons for SEMH learners, maintain a positive learning environment, and adapt to individual educational needs while working closely with our dedicated team to ensure smooth placements.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive learning environment for SEN pupils.

• Collaborate with schools and consultants to ensure placements.

Job Title: SEN Teacher

Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 per year

The schools are looking for a confident and adaptable SEN Teacher who can create a positive learning environment and support pupils with their individual educational needs.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with pupils with SEN / SEMH needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• A patient and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and adaptability
