Job summary

TeacherActive is working with SEN schools in Torquay to recruit a confident SEN Teacher with QTS who can support pupils with SEMH needs and manage challenging behaviour in an SEN classroom.

You will create engaging lessons, adapt teaching approaches to individual needs, and contribute to a positive learning environment while maintaining strong communication with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• QTS required and experience supporting pupils with SEN / SEMH.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Patient and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and adaptability.

• Create a positive learning environment and support pupils with their individual educational needs.
