Qualifications

Job description

How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four?

At OFG, we prioritize our colleagues' wellbeing and are exploring a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, which could mean working one day less per week (or equivalent).

If successful, this initiative will be rolled out across the Group, making this an exciting time to join us.

Role: SEN Teacher

Location: Longdon Hall School, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS15 4PT

Salary: Up to GBP38,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30 - 16:00, with Monday until 16:30 and Friday until 15:45)

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Start Date: September 2025

About the Role

As a qualified teacher passionate about making a difference, you will respond to the needs of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs, helping them thrive.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, developing innovative methods to stimulate interest. Working with us allows you to utilize extensive resources and support, making your role creative and impactful.

You will observe, monitor, and assess students, prioritizing their personal development and wellbeing alongside academic progress.

A passionate and communicative teacher comfortable working with pupils with diverse needs, contributing to the school's vision and community.
