Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Bower Lodge School, Dibden, Southampton, SO45 5TD

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are looking for experienced SEN Teachers to join our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge in Dibden, Southampton that opened in September 2024.

About The Role

As an SEN Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

Our New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge located in Dibden, Southampton has a capacity for 40 pupils catering for autistic young people aged 4 – 11.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
