SEN Teacher - Bromley

We are seeking a dedicated and creative SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Bromley.

The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, and the successful candidate will need to combine high expectations with a highly personalised approach to learning.

The role

You will be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.

You will:

  • Plan highly differentiated lessons.

  • Adapt learning to individual pupil profiles.

  • Teach academic, communication and life skills.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress.

  • Contribute to EHCP outcomes and annual reviews.

  • Work closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals.

  • Lead and support a team of Teaching Assistants.

  • Use positive behaviour-support strategies.

  • Develop pupils' independence and confidence.
