Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to support learners with diverse needs in Key Stage 2–5. The role invites you to tailor lessons, monitor progress, and build a nurturing environment that helps students thrive.

You will work within safeguarding guidelines, hold QTS or equivalent, be registered with the EWC, and possess an enhanced DBS. A commitment to professional development and collaborating with school staff will be essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in SEN educational environments.
  • QTS or equivalent and EWC registration.
  • Enhanced DBS on update service.
  • Two professional references covering a 24-month period.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of abilities and needs from KS2 to KS5.
  • Deliver a tailored curriculum to build confidence and redefine learning.
  • Mentor for academic achievement, personal development, wellbeing and resilience.
  • Provide a nurturing environment for learners with emotional, social and behavioural needs.

SEN Teacher

Currently seeking a dedicated and committed SEN Teacher! A day in the life as a teacher:
  • Teaching a range of abilities and needs ranging from KS 2, 3, 4 & 5
  • Delivering a tailored curriculum, encouraging confidence and redefining what traditional learning looks like
  • Mentoring for academic achievement, personal development, well-being, resilience and preparation for the next steps
  • Learners will likely have a history of emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, your job is to provide a small nurturing environment that allows for them and you to thrive

To be eligible for this role, you must be 18+ and either already have or be happy to apply for:
  • Either: Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
  • Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the update service
  • Level 2 Safeguarding training (provided)
  • At least two professional references covering a 24-month period

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
