Job summary

Leigh Academy Snowfields in Bearsted College, Maidstone, is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join our inclusive team. You will develop and deliver a bespoke curriculum primarily supporting students on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder within a Primary Teaching Model.

We welcome SEND specialists, primary teachers, and secondary specialists looking to move into SEND. Our setting offers collaboration within a MAT network and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • SEN experience and/or SEND background.
  • Experience delivering ASD-focused curriculum.
  • Willingness to work within a primary teaching model.
  • Open to backgrounds in SEND, primary or secondary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver bespoke SEN curriculum for ASD students.
  • Support students on the autistic spectrum within a primary teaching framework.
  • Collaborate with the MAT network and Bearsted College to drive inclusive education.
