Here, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous professional growth. With smaller class sizes, exceptional facilities, and an embedded multi‑disciplinary approach, you’ll have the time, resources, and support to deliver truly impactful teaching. Every day brings new opportunities to ignite communication, social development, and life skills through engaging, multi‑sensory learning experiences tailored to each pupil’s unique needs.

What Makes This Role Stand Out:
  • Extensive specialist CPD, mentoring, and targeted professional development
  • Generous PPA allowance to support high‑quality teaching and planning
  • High staff‑to‑pupil ratios for personalised, meaningful learning
  • Purpose‑built therapy rooms, sensory spaces, and a hydrotherapy pool
  • Supportive team culture with excellent opportunities for progression into leadership
  • Free onsite parking for a stress‑free commute
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that promote communication, engagement, and independence
  • Lead and inspire a team of Teaching Assistants within your classroom
  • Work closely with specialist teachers, therapists, and school leaders to develop an inclusive curriculum
  • Build positive relationships with families and carers to support holistic development
  • Engage actively in school events and wider community activities
  • Teach pupils with severe learning difficulties across a diverse age range
  • Participate in ongoing training, including behaviour support and alternative communication methods (PECS, AAC, Makaton)
Why work via Teach Now:
  • Ensure that you will have your own dedicated consultant who will provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Offer an excellent ‘refer a friend’ scheme that pays you £150 for each candidate you refer to us after they have worked and been paid for their first 10 days.
  • Pay in line with the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) meaning you will be paid equally to a permanent employee.
