SEN Teacher - ARP - Finchley
Location: Finchley, North London
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: January 2027
Qualification: QTS required
Enrich Education Recruitment is working with a welcoming primary school in Finchley looking for a passionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join its Additional Resource Provision (ARP) from January.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced SEN Teacher who has worked within an ARP or specialist setting, or a strong EYFS/KS1 teacher with a genuine passion for SEN who is keen to develop their career within specialist provision.
Previous SEN teaching experience is highly desirable, but the school is equally interested in meeting teachers with the right approach, strong Early Years or KS1 practice and a real willingness to learn and develop.
You will join an established ARP within the primary school, teaching and supporting children with additional needs in a smaller, more individualised learning environment.
The role will include:
Previous experience within an ARP, SEN unit, special school or specialist provision would be particularly valuable but is not essential for the right teacher.
Experience supporting pupils with needs such as autism, communication difficulties, developmental delay, sensory needs or social and emotional regulation would also be beneficial.
The ARP forms part of a supportive primary school community in the Finchley area, giving pupils access to specialist teaching and targeted support while remaining part of a mainstream school environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced support staff and the wider SEN team, with opportunities to develop your specialist SEN practice.
For a mainstream EYFS or KS1 teacher considering a move into SEN, this is an opportunity to make that transition within a supportive setting rather than being expected to arrive as a fully established specialist teacher.
Enrich Education Recruitment is committed to safeguarding children. All successful applicants will be subject to relevant compliance checks, including an Enhanced DBS, right-to-work checks and satisfactory references.
