The successful candidate will be hardworking, dedicated and passionate about improving outcomes for children. Empathy, compassion, patience and resilience are essential, alongside the ability to remain calm, consistent and nurturing when supporting children who may communicate their needs through distressed or challenging behaviour. Experience of working with pupils with SEMH, ASC, complex needs and/or behaviours that challenge would be highly beneficial. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, understood, valued and able to succeed.

• Whole-team PPA time every Friday afternoon, following the pupils' 12:00pm finish, providing protected time for planning, preparation, collaboration and professional development.

• A comprehensive CPD programme, with regular opportunities to develop your knowledge and practice, particularly around SEND, SEMH, ASC, teaching and learning, behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Salary and role within the school will be dependent upon qualifications and experience and will be in line with the National Teacher Pay Scales. Teachers are eligible to participate in the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
