Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an SEN Teacher to join our team in Bushey, ASAP. You will deliver engaging, personalised lessons for students with complex needs and adapt the curriculum to suit individual requirements.

Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals, you will support each student's development while maintaining strong safeguarding practices and completing necessary background checks.

Qualifications

• QTS or PGCE is required.
• Experience in specialist SEN settings is highly desirable.
• Background checks including enhanced DBS are required.
• Experience with complex needs (SEMH, ASD, PMLD) is beneficial.

SEN Teacher - Bushey - ASAP

GSL Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in Bushey, supporting children with complex and profound learning difficulties. This includes students with behaviour challenges, complex needs, and learning difficulties. This is a temporary to long-term role.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and personalised lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs, and working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support each student's development. The ideal SEN Teacher will have experience working with children with complex needs, including SEMH, ASD, PMLD, and other additional needs, alongside strong classroom management, communication, and safeguarding skills.

QTS or PGCE is required for this role. Previous experience working within a specialist SEN setting is highly desirable.
