Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEN Primary Teacher to cover in Aveley, Essex. The role is a long-term, temp-to-perm contract, full-time, starting ASAP.

You will join a school requiring QTS and experience with SEN needs, including autism, and the ability to manage a classroom and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will be registered to work in the UK and may need to complete safeguarding checks and DBS updates as part of the agency process.

• Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing booking
• Contract type - Long-Term- Temp to Perm

• Minimum rate of pay Minimum rate - Paid to scale
• Hours - Monday to Friday - 08.30 - 16. mins unpaid break

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold a QTS
• Must have experience with SEN needs - ideally Autism
• Able to manage a classroom
• Must be comfortable with challenging behaviour

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
