Job summary

Academics in Newbury is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to support pupils with a range of needs across KS1–KS2. You will deliver one-to-one and small-group assistance, helping learners overcome barriers to progress and build confidence in an inclusive classroom.

Roles are available as full-time and part-time positions, Monday to Friday 8:30am–3:30pm, offering meaningful daily impact in welcoming schools. Salary is set by the client pay policy and will reflect qualifications and experience.

Looking for a rewarding new role in education? We're working with a selection of welcoming and inclusive schools across Newbury, offering exciting opportunities for caring, motivated support staff to join their teams.

As an SEN TA, you'll provide valuable one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and develop greater independence. You may work with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour and a range of other additional needs.

The ideal candidate

The successful SEN TA will ideally have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Early Years Practitioner or within an SEN setting.

Experience supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2 would be advantageous. However, we're also keen to hear from enthusiastic candidates who are looking to build their experience within education.

You’ll need to be available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
