Remedy Education is seeking a patient and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP in Epping. The role covers both primary and secondary pupils with a range of additional needs in a well-resourced school.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with communication and EHCP targets, and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals. Ideal candidates will have experience with SEN, ASD or ADHD, a calm and resilient approach, and a willingness to support personal

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsabilités

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Following EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
