Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Surrey. You will support students with SEN, providing tailored help to thrive in the classroom and collaborate with teachers to meet individual goals.

The role welcomes applicants with experience or training in SEN support; DBS on Update Service is preferred, and safeguarding regulations must be followed in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in supporting SEN students.
• Strong communication skills, patience and empathy.
• Team player with ability to work within a school environment.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Full compliance with UK safeguarding regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist the SEN Teaching Assistant team with classroom activities and learning goals.
• Support students with personal development and social integration.
• Monitor student progress and adapt learning materials with teachers.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and school activities.
