Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Surrey. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teachers with lesson delivery and provide targeted help to students who need extra support.

The ideal candidate is patient, proactive and passionate about helping students across a range of subjects, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. DBS enhanced advised.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Full compliance with UK school safeguarding regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support students with their learning and academic progress.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with students who need additional help.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Provide feedback on student progress to teachers and senior staff.
• Help prepare and organise classroom activities and learning resources.
